How to Use Email to Gain Direct Clients
Earlier when we talked about the key to succesful invoicing being one word.. "urgency"..
Email is the same. It's simple. What helps you gain direct clients through email is.. "CONSISTENCY"
And ensuring your emails contain information that is VALUABLE to them.
So how do we ensure our emails are valuable?
The Three Foundation Emails to Drive Business..
You want to have at least these three email types I've listed below as your baseline.
A strong Introduction Email
A value driven Follow-Up Email
A cosistent, results driven & informative Weekly Email or Newsletter
What Should My Emails Include?
Lucky for you I have created some templates for you to use! I've attached them as files to this lesson!
Here's a breakdown below on how to think about building these emails. Then check out the templates and customize them to your business!
The Introduction Email
A strong introductory email to potential clients is crucial for a notary because it serves as the first impression that can significantly influence a lead's decision to engage your services. Here’s why it's important:
First Impression Matters: The initial email will often be the first direct interaction with potential clients. A well-written email projects professionalism and credibility, which builds trust right from the start.
Showcases Value: An introductory email is an opportunity to succinctly highlight the unique benefits of your notary services. By emphasizing what sets you apart (e.g., mobile services, specialization, or quick turnaround), you help clients see the value in choosing you.
Personal Connection: Personalized emails help establish a rapport with leads. Addressing them by name and acknowledging their specific needs makes them feel valued and encourages further communication.
Clear Next Steps: A good introductory email provides clear information on how leads can proceed, whether it's scheduling an appointment or providing further details. Making the process easy increases the likelihood of conversion.
Sets Expectations: Outlining your availability, response times, or services offered sets clear expectations, which can prevent misunderstandings and ensures clients feel confident in what you provide.
Competitive Edge: In a crowded market, many notaries may offer similar services. A compelling email helps you stand out by immediately addressing the client's pain points or concerns and demonstrating your expertise.
By crafting a confident and strategic introductory email, you lay a strong foundation for building a relationship with potential clients and ultimately increasing your chances of gaining their business.
The Follow-Up Email
Your follow up email should follow a similar framework to your introductory email but can be more succint. Be confident and focus on delivering clear, succint value about you and your business. Calling attention to your availabilty, contact information, booking ease (use that booking calendar link!!) and what valuable services and results you deliver that make you stand out.
Lastly, end it with a prompt to respond to! Create a conversation!
The Weekly Email/Newsletter
The weekly email always gets sent on Monday and is a proven strategy to keep you and your services top of mind as clients and potential clients begin to conquer the week ahead.
In this email you give a real time peek into your availability, surface value of your services that could be relative in general or relative for the current time period (think holiday availablity or end of month rush!)
You can also use this email to provide a piece of information that may be valuable to your client based on their role. Whether it be focused on the real estate market, local realtor event or community event where they could network. Bringing your clients value to help them make more money doesn't always have to be directly tied to your services!
